The Deal

This contest is going to be just like a mad lib. In case any of you don't know what that is (or have forgotten) here's how it works. You get a short story to start with, but it has words missing. The words are replaced by blanks with parts of speech listed, and it is your duty to provide the indicated word.

Example: You get: I verb past-tense down my noun and verb past-tense when I saw a noun. You fill it out: I jumped down my hamburger and honked when I saw a flashlight. Hey, I never said it had to make sense!

Copy/paste the given story into a writing entry or a wikipage, and fill in the blanks! The most fun entry wins!

The Rules

1. Follow the Writersco rules, and keep it pretty clean.
2. Make sure that you put in the correct part of speech and spell it right.
3. Don't change anything that isn't underlined in the original short story.
4. Make all the words you put in bold, so they're easier for the judges to find.
5. Either create a writing entry or a wikipage with your entry, and provide the link for us in the space provided. Don't put your stories on this page, to save room.

The Story!

Mary crossed from one end of the noun to the other, knowing that she had to get to person's house on time that day. The package she carried was of the adjective noun, and no one could know what was in there except for noun or pronoun.

It was a adjective day, in the town of adjective animal. Outdoor grills and plural noun smoldered adverb in the sunlight, and Mary smiled her captivating smile at every noun she passed. Interjection, what a lovely day!

It wasn't too long before she came upon the noun that her contact had specified. It was adjective, in its way, but Mary found that she hated the smell of the place. She sat down on a noun and waited, progressive verb just to pass the time until her contact would arrive. Then she could verb for the last time, and go home without that adjective package.

number hours later, a stretch limousine pulled up next to the noun where Mary had past perfect verb. Her contact stepped out, looking adjective as usual.

"Oh, you're finally here. I thought you'd never verb before I turned old," Mary said as she held up the package for him. The man didn't speak, only took the package and opened it up.

Mary past verb. Inside the package was a adjective noun, the only one she'd ever seen! It was amazing, except for when the plural noun showed up and past verb her contact until he wet his noun and passed out. Mary just laughed as she ran away.

"That'll teach him not to verb plural noun!"
