As many of us know, we are well into November which means the Nation Novel Writing Month is back! NaNoWriMo is open all month long and it's not too late to join! If you don't want to officially join, you don't have to! You can join here on WritersCo! Simply go to NaNoWriMo Support and keep your logs, talk with other participants, and get your daily inspirational quote.
 
  NaNo isn't the only thing going on in November. 30 Characters in 30 Days is also active. Note that you cannot officially join this anymore but so far no one on the WC has. This is also supported at NaNoWriMo Support!

At the end of the month if you have your 50,000 words, 30 characters or both you will get a nifty badge! More will be announced on this next week on the wiki. Come join us!

Hello all! You may not know this, but here at good old WritersCo we're still alive and kicking, and we want you to join the fun!

Fall is a fun time for writers, what with NaNoWriMo (if you haven't heard of it, check it out at www.nanowrimo.org) and school (and life).

You may have heard of, or even participated in this fun contest. It was once owned and managed by [RiddleRose], but since she seems to be MIA, the lovely [Ash] has taken it over for us. Long live Drabbles! Check it out for more info.

Five Words

-Insert shameless self-promotion here- This is a contest that's been with us for a long time. It used to be owned by [Po], who handed it down to me when life overtook her world (she had a beautiful baby). Well, I'm back from the new WC flop and Five Words is back too.

Try them both out, they only require a paragraph each for an entry, so they'll fit right into your NaNoWriMo endeavors.

Hi, just wanted to drop a quick note to the (possibly imaginary) inhabitants of WritersCo:

As the previous crew have removed themselves to a private site with the intention of restarting WritersCo there, their current privs have been removed from this site.

Hedda has given me siteboss privileges, and I intend to allow this site to go on as before. That said, 'before' seems to have killed the place, so if any active members have any suggestions, requests, ideas or events they wish to host here, go right ahead and send me a message, and I'll see what we can do to make it happen.
