Heads up
It has come to our attention that there's been a few points voiced concerning the ideas of WritersCo and its future plans for an anthology. These concerns focused on the WC team making a profit from 'stealing' any works that would be intended for the WC anthology.
Let us state that this is far from true. The WritersCo Anthology is to be created as a medium to publicize and promote members work. The anthology will include all competition entry winner submissions and work voted best of the rest. No work will be included unless WritersCo has direct consent from the author or authors.
The WritersCo Anthology will be published using the fees accumulated from WritersCo competitions. Bearing in mind that 60% of all competition fees goes back into a prize fund for that competition. The remainder will be used to cover the publication costs.
The cost of the published Anthology will be as low as possible. Any money that is made in profit from the sale of the Anthology will go towards covering the costs of the following years work and any other WritersCo ventures including reducing the percentage taken from competition fees to cover the anthology cost.
Again we stress that WritersCo does not hold copyright over any of your work, and you may remove it from the site at any time without warning. We will never publish any of your work in any written or other electronic format without direct consent from you.
