Subject: Writings' Titles (Texts: 6 )

I have a Writing that had a punctuation mark at the end of the title. When typed into a link (89.Who Am I?) it lead to an empty page. I've made a new page (89.Who Am I), which the link with the question mark now leads to. My question is, should the first link, with the question mark, send it to the page with the question mark in the title? If not, you might consider warning other writers who might consider the ending punctuation mark an important part of the title. Thank you.

Subject: WritersCo Features - Competitions (Texts: 6 )

You may have noticed that there is now a Contest Section link in the 'Quick Links' section of main page; you may also have noticed that that wiki page is sad and empty. Luckily the bright sparks that run this fine establishment have a few questions to put to you, and if you are interested we would like you to answer them.

1.) What sort of competitions would you like to see?

2.) How Often would you like to see these competitions, would you like to see more than one at once?

3.) What sort of prize would you like to win? Please be reasonable here.

4.) Would you consider paying a small entry fee if there was a cash prize? (Let’s say 80% fee total to be divided between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place with the reminder going to the community.)

5.) And finally add any other interesting points that we could read over a cup of tea. (This is your chance to shape the way the community will run contests, so be bold and speak up)

I must say I really like the new images on the left side of the Main Page. A nice addition ;)

Subject: New Stylesheet! (Texts: 4 )

[True, plain and simple] has created a new stylesheet for WritersCo. So if you are bored of the old look and want to test something new, just head to your presentation. Enter the edit/update section then scroll down to the seclect css stylesheet section.

In the box type: _testindex.css
then save the data.

If you want to go back to the old stylesheet just remove the text and save your presentation again.

Subject: Want to meet that writing Deadline? (Texts: 1 )

We all know how hard it is to meet a deadline, especially when writing! Maybe you have set yourself a personal deadline - "I swear I will finish this chapter by the end of the week!" but find it hard to keep to it.

Ever wish you had someone there reminding you of that deadline? Or wish you could be reminded easily and frequently? Well now is your chance. Give us your details at My deadline, and we will add your deadline to the Main Page Calendar!

Subject: The Main Page: New Look (Texts: 9 )

Do we have a banner or something that can go at the top of the Mainpage?

I like the new sidebar, but all of the writing in the middle looks messy. I think a banner or some sort of image would look nice, and help break it up a bit.

Just because we want to focus more on writing than art, does not mean we have to give up on aesthetics overall does it?

I've started Verbal Combat!

If anyone want to take it over and run it (it shouldn't be that much work, I hope), I'm happy to let you do it.

It's not linked from anywhere, so feel free to do that ;-)

Subject: Mood >_< (Texts: 14 )

Damnit, [Sunrose] has a mood. One of the great things here was that you couldn't write up a mood and now there is one. Couldn't there be any way to disable them or something, or put them in a DIV box that could be hidden (on the Online friends list)? I've been agonizing over this in Elftown too :P

When the writersco mainpage is exported, the poll questions appear as a bulleted list with '*' as the bullet.
Wouldn't '•' (ALT + 7) be more logical?

When I leave a comment in a wiki and log out, that comment shows up in my house under wiki comments when I log back in. Is this some sort of bug?

Figured I'd at last report this one... When you go to your presentation, it still says "Your house" in the page title.

I've already said this on Musmakers, but I discovered the same thing here: when you watch the last updated writings when not logged in to Writersco, you see a button saying Entrence, shouldn't this be Entrance?

Subject: The WritersCo Ezine (Texts: 1 )

If you are interested in becoming a member ask for an invite into the forum.

The Ezine will focus more on external submissions and the writing world, so there will be less staff articles and more pieces by others.

Submission guidelines will be tough and some submissions may be rejected. The writing world is tough and we can not be lenient.
