Erm... is it just me, or is there suddenly no difference between the way WC is reading h1 and h2 tags right now? Is it the stylesheet, or some instability, or a temporary result of you programmers mucking around?

  Sometimes, when I'm in here in Opera, I want to view something while logged out to see if I can show my non-member friends, so instead of logging all the way out again, I just use a different browser, that being IE. That is how I found out that the VIEW link in the forums doesn't work for logged-out users in IE, at least with the current index.css

  The first time I looked at the news while logged out I went, "Aaaah! Did the computer go down? What happened to all the news since January 1?!" Anyone who'd never been here before might think this place had been inactive since then. I now see that it shows the last several news posts, with the newest at the bottom of the page, the oldest shown at the top.

  I was wondering if you could make it show the newest news on top for guest users? It would give a better first impression.

The little bar at the bottom of the page that says, News about Writersco goes over the sidebar and is apparently set to be a couple of lines below the lowest contents of each page. This looks a little strange when the page is shorter than one window, as it cuts off the sidebar right in the middle of the page (really interrupts the professional look). Admittedly, this is more of a problem for users not logged in, as they don't have all the options and status lists stretching the page out. But I was wondering if you could either...
1. Make it so it stops at the sidebar (the text would be moved over, too).
2. Or... if it's possible, make it so that it's always stuck to the bottom of the page (but not as a frame, yick!).
3. Or both?

  I tested http://www.writersco.com/links.html on Opera 8 and IE 6 and found that the text is written over the sidebar in both cases. Could you please move it over?

I just hit Edit This Page on a wiki and found that the forum selector is new easier to use.

You know that little text box on the right side of every page where you can just type the wiki-name and go? It would be nice to have that feature for the writings, too.

Your Writings Button:
Just like the "Your Presentation" button, this would make navigation quicker as you wouldn't have to go through your presentation to get to your index (then again, so would the superwiki address box, so maybe if you implemented that, this would be unnecessary).

Yep, that is exactly what I get when I have been inactive for more than my set logout time, and I click on something here. Shouldn't it say "You have been logged out due to a long time of inactivity." like in Elftown?

To the guards: Let [Font] handle the applications for now. From Elftown I've learnt that it's better if only one person handles them. And it doesn't matter if it takes some time before people get accepted.

  For genres, how about "Young Adult"? It would be nice if we could distinguish it from "Children's" stories.
  It would also be nice if we could pick more than one, like in a check box format (it could lead to stupid people clicking all of them because they want to be found, but that's unlikely in such a closed community), but maybe you could just add mixed options, like "Children's Fantasy", "Fantasy Horror" (to distinguish vampires from regular slashers) or the like.
  More genres could be "Biography/Autobiography", "Rant", "Historical Fiction" and that's all I can come up with right now.

  For styles, what about a "Script"? "Monologue"? An "Essay"? A "Personal Narrative" (autobiographical short story of a pivotal time in the author's life, usually with the power of hindsight in the subtext)?

  I don't know whether this is a bug, or something I didn't realize I was making happen.
  Within the text on my page, 225.Poetry.Set Format.The Trochées Of Insanity!, there is a link to 225.Poetry.Set Format.The Grouchy Senryu which I didn't knowingly put there. (It is also the next poem on the list.) It's not on any of my other pages, just this one. When I click "Edit this page" the link isn't in the raw text for me to remove. How did it get there? Could it be because I created one as a Sisterpage from the other (though I don't remember whether I did or not)? But I thought that making a Sisterpage had the same function as moving up one level and creating another Subpage.
  So either I just don't know how I put it there and can remove it, or it's a bug.

On one of my writing pages, although I own the page, I cannot delete any of the comments off it.

I set one of my writing pages to Freely editable, but other people cannot edit it.

  Being new, I of course want to catch up on some forums by reading them by topic. However, when I do that, it doesn't mark all of the replies as read, even though I have, in fact, read them. Shouldn't Writersco mark all those postings as read which you have seen in either the forum overview or the view by thread?

I tried creating this page: 225.Poetry.Free Verse.A balcony. (with the period)
So what happened was that Elftown created two pages on me: 225.Poetry.Free Verse.A balcony (which was empty at the time) and 225.Poetry.Free Verse.A balcony.A balcony.
I sorted it out by hiding both pages and recreating 225.Poetry.Free Verse.A balcony again to hold the poem.
Of course, the bug is that I shouldn't have been able to create a page name containing a period in the first place. You have made it impossible to create page names with multiple periods, but not single ones.

I have a Writing that had a punctuation mark at the end of the title. When typed into a link (89.Who Am I?) it lead to an empty page. I've made a new page (89.Who Am I), which the link with the question mark now leads to. My question is, should the first link, with the question mark, send it to the page with the question mark in the title? If not, you might consider warning other writers who might consider the ending punctuation mark an important part of the title. Thank you.
