Character Name:

Skye Gabriel Sands of Sheridan ~ Trigon

User: [La Divina]
Race: human
Age: 21
Gender: Male

Appearance: Skye is about 5'7'' tall, not muscular, but well built. His hair is mud brown and messy most of the time, getting in his eyes, which are blue. He has a black triangle imprinted on his right shoulder, a mark that, where he comes from, is put on criminals.

Skills: Skye has the ability to see "light" in people and has limited control over his. Mostly he can project it out to blind his enemies in battle. He's a fair sowrdsman as well, though not a master. (Normally he fights right-handed, but he sometimes shifts to left hand, which is the hand he uses to write.) He can take a hit pretty well, too.
Weaknesses: Any blow aimed to his right shoulder would also deal critical damage, but most people don't know this. If he uses up too much light in one projection, he has to wait a while before he can launch it again. He also has something of a temper and can often be easily provoked into fighting.
Weapons: Skye has a simple sword called 'Fairfight'. Vernon Rivers made it for him.

ON "LIGHT": Light is, esentially, a person's emotional and physical energy combined. An aura of their soul. Skye can see light in others, and his own skills with his own are:
Projection: Drawing his own light out to blind in beams or bursts.
Sheilding: At times he can draw out all of his light and make it solid enough to deflect most physical blows and a certain level of magic.
Attacks: If he concentrates enough, he can form solid shafts of light like arrows or spears of light. They are generally only as soild as his sheilds, though.

Personality: Skye is a wanderer. He can't stay in one place for too long. He might be brave or just too stupid to notice he's in danger. He likes playing hero and helping people, but can be a bit stubborn sometimes. He is very much in love with his wife, and protects her with his life, obeys her... to the point where she once got him to wear a skirt. But he doesn't want you to know that.

"History:" Skye was born in a prosperous city into one of the wealthiest families on the island. He has one half brother, with whom he doesn't get along very well. When he was just fifteen, his brother framed him for mass murder of a group of travelers staying in their house. Skye was branded, sentenced to death, but later exilied on his father's wishes, who believed Skye to be innocent. (Which he later found out he is, with the help of Mi'ehna.)
He lost a great part of his memory, and was nursed back to health by a young woman named Trinity Diamond. He fell in love with her, but she could not return his feelings and betrayed him when he found out that she'd been hiding the truth about the mark from him. He decided to leave her and wander off to find himself.
He had a number of adventures, including finding Etinifni.
He had another encounter with a woman named Aislin Moore, who he almost married. Alas, she was, in fact, hired to kill him. He could not forgive her for it, especially since she told him as she stabbed him that she never loved him... she had lied. She left him for dead, but he survived.
He wandered around some more and eventually became so depressed that he decided to find Aislin again and let her kill him for good. Instead, he stumbled upon one Radivishe Moorn, who temporarily imprisoned him in Dothaven. There he met Mi'ehna Sheridan, who he fell in love with quite instantly despire his efforts not to. However, Mi'ehna returned his love, and once they escaped Dothaven, went with him to Oceania del Mar. Shortly after a number of adventures, they were married on White Isle. They stayed there for over a month, and then decided to spend some time in Hasu Vale, where they are running an inn and tavern.

Other: Favorite food: salmon, Favorite color: blue

Here is a picture of Skye projecting his light in the form of a wing.

And here is a picture of the Trigon mark. The Latin reads: "Timor mortis/ conturbat me,/ quilla inferno nulla/ est redemptio". ("The fear of death torments me, because in hell there is no redemption".)

A trigon mark divider-thing!
