I know it is not fair to expect things from people - at least not too much. But as I think of you, I can't help but to imagine my expectations, and well, maybe you also would like to know them, since my expectations of you do tell things about myself as well. A funny two-way street, huh?
From my side I believe you'll be a reader - that's what I wish at least, because my Mom and both sisters are all like me: bookworms. Through treating this curiosity by reading you will have quite an open and sharp mind - you'll be amongst the brightest in your class. You'll be musical. I'd love to see you play an instrument. and for His sake I hope it'll be the Violin. He loves "the voice of violin" as He puts it. At least your musical taste will be quite broad with the knowledge of my favourites and His - you'll grow up to Beethoven, the Beatles and Bollywood. I hope you will inherit some of my artistic tendencies, although if you'll be timid like me, you might choose not to pursue them in fear of being over-shadowed by me. I wish that won't be the case, since Julian Lennon is a splendid musician "in spite of" his famous father, and it'd be a shame if Julian had been too timid to make music.
From Him I'd like to see in you the determination and strenght. That softer, understanding side that so few these days have. Obviously I hope you'd prefer His food-culture. And the way they dance - I wish you'll have those flexible hips... I suppose those both depend on whether we live in India or somewhere else. I'd like to live there, although family-wise Finland might be a safer choice. Childcare, education system, government support, general safety... I had all that, handed to me, and it took me long to actually realise to appreciate it. So I fear you might be spoiled - although He says you should be a little naughty..!
No matter where you'll end up growing up, your language skills will be either amazing or messed up. You will have three languages to start with - my Finnish, His Hindi and English which we use to talk to each other - and if we live in Finland, you will be forced to learn "the second national", Swedish. And since you won't need to learn English in school, you'd probably start something else as an A-language, like German or French... Yet if we lived in India, you'd get constant influences of the thousands of other languages spoken there (depending on which part of India we'd live in). And why I said you'd be messed up language-wise, is because you'll face some language-problems since no where on the Earth will you find a place that speaks your native hybrid language.
I could list a lot of teeny titles that I don't want you to become, but I know what human development is like and that you will rebel. I just wish you keep a clear head and have a look at yourself at times and keep common sense. It's something I've learnt from my Father to appreciate; and you know, common sense is not that common... Another thing I appreciate is punctuality. I wish you'll also learn to be in time, but if there's a bad habit you'll pick from him, I bet it'll be tardiness... :P
Always respect all life my child, don't be ashamed, don't be too shy or afraid. Those are my bad qualities I don't want you to have.

                        Love, Mum.
