This is a thought that occured to me just before a tutor of mine told me about that book "Charlotte" or "Clarissa" or "Christina" (I can't remember the book's name but it was a woman's name that started with a C), that the whole story is presented to the reader in letters. You don't get any action description, only the second-hand, biased description of the action of the letter-writer. But before I knew of this book, I thought it would be a good idea to do some traditional "private and confidential" letter-writing
, addressed to people I don't necessarely even know, or who don't necessarely exist. Because it is such an interesting art form, for many reasons. The form of spilling your heart on a page, the way it's used in the Bible, the fact that letter-writing is dying out because of emails and instant messages and SMS and all that. I mean, who any more can really do the whole "handwriting" thing? You know, the really pretty stuff that you were forced to learn in school. Only old people do that, and they usually have the most beautiful handwritings.
So letters here. Sparks of emotion, biased description of moments in my life, thoughts and ponderings.
With these I'm not as... evil about commenting as I am with the rants. I welcome comments and critique, any thoughts you'd want to share with me.
