War Diary

This is a Flipside Contest, Hosted by [Burning Inside]

This is a simple little piece that I am hoping that I will get people to join.

The point is to write a diary about being in a war. You can have it be any war that you want, an old war, or a war that is in the future. Be in the war, or a bystander, it is your call.

No longer the 8000 words please

Make sure it is about the war

No graphic content, I know it is about a war, but it is just a diary, you need not describe how someone dies, even if someone dies.

This will be judged on spelling and grammar, and how you go with the subject at hand

Original Work only, and please Copyright your work

Deadline is whenever he can find a computer to use.

2006-02-01 [Mister Saint]: Say... this contest is in the 'allowing both' section of the contest section, but I don't see anything about poetry. o.O Does it allow poetry?

2006-02-01 [La Divina]: Isn't that what it means? That it allows both poerty and prose?

2006-02-01 [Mister Saint]: I'm just wondering if it was accidentally put in the wrong section. ^^

2006-02-01 [Kuzco]: YOU GOT FEATURED CONTEST ON FLIPSIDE BURN! Congrats ;)

2006-02-02 [Kaimee]: I'm not sure if the mentions of shooting in mine are too graphic, can you check for me please? The rules say "you need not describe how someone dies, even if someone dies." But well... if you read mine, you'll see. If it's too terrible I'll take it down :P

2006-02-02 [chuchutrain]: I don't think it's that bad...and I'm sure Burning will be alright with it. Atleast that's my hunch...

2006-02-02 [Akayume]: yeah. i dont think its all that bad either.

2006-02-02 [Kaimee]: Goodo ^^ It's not blood and guts gore, but it does mention the method quite a few times, so I thought I had best check ^^

2006-02-02 [chuchutrain]: I'm sure it'll be alright, I like it.

2006-02-02 [Kaimee]: Thankies ^^
