Day Fourteen

[Product of a Primal Urge]
So, my boyfriend is already past the halfway mark. I'm almost up to where I should be so it's not so bad. The problem is, I'm suddenly hating my characters. It's a story that's been in my head a while now but I can't seem to manipulate it to where I want it. I may just toss the whole crime universe on it's head and create some weird thing that's happening to my character and change the story completely. We will see what tonight's write-in brings!! I seem to have very good luck at the write-ins.

Trying to catch up is hard work! I should be at 23,338 words today and despite writing *tons* in every spare moment today, I only managed to squeak out about 3,000 words so far, putting me at 13,624. That's not too far behind....right? >.<

Day Ten

So, finally got a computer charger and can get back on top of things. A bit behind from my terrific flow of words the first five days. Suuuucks. But we will see. Went to a write-in, met some cool people. Can't wait to go again. Hoping for a couple thousand words today.

Day Five

It's after nine thirty p.m. and I have nothing written for today. I do have a headache though and that'll put a damper on things. I plan on writing through out the night, updating my word count right before midnight and taking advantage of the extra hour that the world has given us thanks to human oddities about tracking time.

Approximately another 1,000 today, but didn't get it typed until day 6.

Today was a problematic day. I got through it, I have liqueur, and I'm going to go kick my boyfriend off the xbox so I can kill zombies...

Day Three

As I venture forth, I will have plenty of problems. Like not enough time, too much school work and a boyfriend who wants me to be more with him then the computer. I just broke 2k, I'm planning on breaking 5k today. Back to work I go. I'm still on chapter one as well. I need to find the plot outline, which resides in my room, which I need to pack today...

Nearly scrapped the entire thing to start over after getting back into listening to podfics. It's great to find a fantastic fanfic writer and listen to what's been podfic'd of theirs, but it's also detrimental to my ego and drive to continue NaNo. No worries, I'm pushing through and not letting me hate my writing :D Goal is to reach 6,000 by midnight... six hours to do it. On top of Latin homework.

Did some writing at work and school in between paying attention and loading software. Not where I need to be, but I'm not going to stress about it. :)

Day Two:

"I don't write because I can, I write because I have to." Yeah, so cranking out a lot in two days. Don't know if I can keep this pace, but I'd like to so that if I have to miss a day I won't be behind. Having some stuff planned out really helped!

Got to a total of 2,818 words as of last night. Typed it up today. Going to type up what I wrote today (the 3rd) later. >.<

Day One:

I crunched out the 1,667 words I'm supposed to today and not one more. Like that's my word count exactly... This is mainly due to the talkative demon at the information desk. I didn't find it hard, I'm having a hard time finding time. My boyfriend doesn't see the point of NaNo since I write so much anyway and it's another thing I have to do away from him and in the past 80 minutes I took to write those 1,667 words, find proper music, draw, write and post my 30c-30d character, he has inquired about me being done for the day five times. Well, I guess I'll be done for now and write more after he goes to bed. I'd like to hit 2,500 today.

Got in 1,037 on the first day. Not quite enough to keep on track but something is better than nothing. :)

2010-11-21 [Tyr Zalo Hawk]: November 10th, at 8:00PM (MST)... it USED to be be November 3rd at 10PM... but certain circumstances which are a bit too personal for a daily log page's comments changed it <_<

Well, okay, so technically nothing's too personal unless people deem it to be... but I'm saving us all a... banana... smoothie... mmm... *goes off to get blender and some bananas*

2010-11-21 [Ash]: My and my boyfriend moved our anni back to the 20th, otherwise it was the day after tax day, and we didn't want to worry about taxes then go directly into worrying about a date.

2010-11-21 [Tyr Zalo Hawk]: That's crazy talk <_< You don't need to worry about anything... anni's are a time to relax and have fun. Besides, if you get your taxes done early then there's no reason to worry about them anyways >_>

But yeah... I seem to be typing on everything but my Nano right now...

2010-11-21 [Ash]: I know, I'm there too... I've got somethings I have to do though. I want to get to 37k today, which is pretty easy, but it's getting the will to write.

2010-11-21 [Annie]: Oh I see. Looks like me and Ash are close then and Tyr is the reigning champion of relationship age. :P I can understand switching the day. I wouldn't want mine so close to tax day either. Especially since my ex's birthday is on tax day lol. And wow...you even know the time, that's certainly something.

2010-11-21 [Ash]: We never had a time, we discussed going out and there were like 'Okay, we'll see how it goes' and poof, we're still together! :)

2010-11-21 [Veltzeh]: What's the significance of anniversaries anyway? :o

2010-11-21 [Annie]: I've never been big on them in the past myself, but I celebrate them more now. Just nice to have one day set aside to reminisce and have an excuse to veg out, eat junk food, and smooch all day. :P Self-imposed holidays ftw! :P

2010-11-21 [Tyr Zalo Hawk]: I'm more of just a hopeless romantic <_< So that's why I have it nailed down to a specific time and can, therefore, give you an up-to-date count of exactly how long I've been with my girlfriend (soon to be fiance =D (with an accent mark)). and anniversaries are, for me, more just a time to do something a bit nicer for her than I do the other 29 days of every month (averaged).

But yeah <_< eating junk food and smooching is cool too...

2010-11-27 [Annie]: Hmm...wow, I didn't even notice they were gone. I admit, it could very well have been me who clicked it by accident...Google Chrome doesn't handle WC very well and sometimes I get super irritated with it and click frantically to take out my frustration. :P So it could be that in one of my clicking episodes I clicked something without realizing it...what button would that be? I can try to undo it if I did it.
