With the new listings of who a given person has invited, I can see the IP# of anyone just by figuring out who invited them. I won't pretend that I know tons about the subject, but...isn't this a bit risky on multiple levels?

Shouldn't the title bar on the Mainpage say "Mainpage" insted of "Mainstreet"?

... is access denied, (to me at least).
Any particular reason why the average member cannot browse the wonderful people who make it happen? =)

One thing I've noticed is that some people like using subpages for easier browsing.

However, I find it insanely annoying to have the content text below the index in those cases.

Is it possible to move the content links to the bottom of the page as a standard? It's easier for browsing/reading works too, because it saves you having to scroll all the way to the top (Noo... Shanra isn't lazy at all! Whatever gave you that idea? ;p).

Also, I believe the issue of the size of the comment box was brought up before? It really is far too tiny for a decent critique. And I don't want to think about the amount of comments needed to give one decent critique if the character limit is the same as Elftown's.

Often, Elfwood's 3000 character limit is too little even.

I was feeling kinda goofy the other day, and noticed that I was the only member trotting around in here on a couple of occasions. I made this up as a gag, and if anybody else to whom it applies would like to use it, you are more than welcome.

I could've done one better, on the one occasion where I was inside here and the online members read as zero. But I'm still amused.

Subject: Uploaded File (Texts: 3 )

When uploading a document as the writing in a subpage, the button that appears labelled 'uploaded file' seems a little bit on the discreet side. Its just a tripe, but might the button itself be made larger, a little more obvious? (Unless of course I've done something wrong, in which case I'm sure you can find something heavy to throw at me ^_^)

The text should read more like "Here you can ask about the members on this site or ask for someone to help you do something or where to find such people."

A better way of saying that would probably be "Here you can ask about WritersCo members and seek assistance with <whatever it is you're implying they're looking for help for>". :P

Subject: Wider Edit-boxes (Texts: 3 )

When one is editing/making a new writing, the box appears quite thin, much like in a wiki. Would it not be more sensible for a box meant to contain large sections of pure text to be a little wider? I for one do not find it easy to go through and correct bits using this box.

I don't know whether it is merely beacause i have a 1240x1024 pixel screen that it appears thin, even so is it nopt possible to make it scaling to the size of teh window?

Subject: Message irritation (Texts: 3 )

I noticed this today when I was sending [Font] a dirty message, and I looked back at all my messages and noticed this:

<img:stuff/scrollright.jpg>

<img:stuff/scrollbottom.jpg>

Is anyone else seeing it that the message box is off, or is it me? Is it that way on ET as well?

*goes to look*

Edit: It does not appear this way in ET, and I think the "delete this message" button may be why. In ET, it simply says "delete."

Can we fix this or do we care?

Subject: Enhancing "block member" on Writersco? (Texts: 3 )

I have already had the distinct displeasure of blocking a member, whose name shall remain nameless, something I thought wouldn't ever happen on Writersco. This isn't Elftown, after all . . .

In the interests of keeping Writersco as drama-free and tranquil a community as possible, would Writersco please consider adding this feature to "block member"?:

---not only are the messages, etc. from the idiot blocked, but the idiot also cannot view the presentation of a member, or comment on any of their wikis/writings

Obviously this wouldn't work on a site the size of Elftown, because people would simply log in on clone houses and harrass, harrass, harrass. Yet on this controlled, restricted invitation-only community don't we want to do everything we can as a community to prevent a few isolated people from making it go to the birds? The only people who come here are those who are invited. No such thing as clone houses on Writersco, unless there are two Writersco members from the same home.

Here's an example of what such a page redirect might look like . . . redirecting to Mainstreet, for example:

<img:stuff/43_RedirectExampleScreenshot.bmp.jpg>

I just want to be in a Writersco that keeps the peanut gallery idiots up in the peanut gallery where they belong, and not making the Wriersco experience miserable, for the rest of us. I don't want any drama. Been there, done that, never again. Shut the trolls up by shutting down their view of most things pertaining to the members who have blocked them. It shuts them up (and maybe encourages them to do something constructive instead of going out of their way to bother people they like to bother on other sites!), and gives the rest of us peace of mind.

Thanks . . . and if donations are necessary to fund something like this, I'd be more than happy to sacrifice money spent for snack foods, for a few weeks to cover the costs of the Writersco donation. :)

Subject: Indentation! (Texts: 30 )

Well, I hate doing my paragraph breaks with double linebreaks so I want to use indentation. As it is, I can only do it by using nbsp. Of course I could make my own stylesheet with the p tags indented... except that the tags seem to be messed anyway so it probably wouldn't even work.
The space between the paragraphs is just so damn huge!

Well, could it be possible to make some special story p tags that would have indentation but no extra space above or under? So that pressing enter once would create a real paragraph like in advanced text editors. And maybe with one and a half lineheights, even?

Or even better, could that be made a feature for all the writers to choose whether they want double linebreaks or indentation? X)
