2005-04-30 [Veltzeh]: Hmm... how about sexually explicit or very violent stories?
2005-05-07 [Stephen]: That really doesn't suprise me you asked that Veltzeh, lol
2005-05-09 [Veltzeh]: Hmm... typo: documention -> documentation?
2005-05-09 [Font]: Thanks! Well spotted ;)
2005-05-09 [Veltzeh]: Well, I am the living spell-check so I need to live up to the title! Actually, now that I'm at it... "Somewhat" should be written together and "The crew retain" should be "The crew retains". XD
2005-05-09 [Font]: hmm you have become annoying :P
2005-05-09 [Veltzeh]: Haha :D
2005-06-16 [battlefield]: Unless a book of yours have(should be has) made it to the silver screen
2005-06-16 [Font]: thanks ;)
2005-06-16 [battlefield]: i live to serve
2005-07-15 [Veltzeh]: Hm... We "will" contact the owner. What are the quotes doing there? X)
2005-12-17 [Aradon Templar]: Maybe to add emphasis? Question: would "inlining" images refer to like you can do with Elftown, where you can simply use img:url to link from anywhere?
2005-12-17 [Aradon Templar]: Oiy. Another question, too. What are the rules for uploading music? Would it have to be made by you, or is credit given enough?
2005-12-17 [Font]: And I suppose in some way related to writing. Just so we can stay clear of using up space for non writing related stuff. On another note if you are interested in music visit www.musmakers.
2005-12-17 [Aradon Templar]: So uploading music (assuming I get the priv level) is alright if I credit the composer, and it has a purpose beyond just being music?
2005-12-18 [Font]: If the music was a form of inspiration for writing and you wanted others to hear it yes, or a part of a compettion. The purpose should be related to writing.
2005-12-18 [Aradon Templar]: Alright, thanks for clarifying that :)
2005-12-18 [Font]: No problem at all.
2006-01-31 [RiddleRose]: typo... "excert" should be "excerpt" ^^
2006-02-23 [Hermelin]: What are the rules for religious content?
2006-02-24 [Font]: none. cases that do cause concern will be looked at on an individual bases.
2006-02-24 [Veltzeh]: Yeah, those Mohammed satires have got everyone scared, am I right? XD
2006-02-27 [Hermelin]: The whole mohammed satire-case is weird. o.O
2006-03-18 [Nightshadow]: Added rule #6 to the image section, for clarification. Feel free to slap me if I'm wrong, it's assumed from ET rules and also the fact that we don't allow fanfiction, since this is an even less original visual equivalent.
2006-03-19 [Font]: Looks good.
2006-04-05 [Child of God]: What about social commentaries and essays? Are only fictional works permitted?
2006-04-05 [Font]: All genres are welcome.
2006-05-28 [Hedda]: I so feel to put "I don't like the notice rules" in my notice...
2006-05-30 [Font]: Then you would be very naughty and you would get shouted at by the mods :P
2006-05-31 [Winkx]: Wow. Those wewre really helpful.
2006-05-31 [Nightshadow]: I'm glad, [Winkx]! :)
2006-06-06 [Child of God]: I've noticed there is a Fanfiction wiki. Is that permitted or are Fanfics banned from Writersco completely? I know they are allowed in your writings area but are they permitted on a seperate wiki?
2006-06-06 [Paz]: You can post/write fanfics here only if they're in normal wikis. Fanfictions are not allowed in the main writings wiki but you may make a standard wiki page and type it on there :)
2006-06-26 [RiddleRose]: what changed?
2006-06-27 [Veltzeh]: Press the "View diff" button! :)
2006-06-28 [RiddleRose]: ha! i never even noticed that button before! thank ye kindly!
2006-11-12 [--------]: I agree with most of the rules that have been layed down here. Hopefully the gaurds will not start being arsey because they think that they can do anything.
2006-11-12 [Font]: 'Mods' don't do anything they want, what they do do is follow and enforce the WritersCo rules.
2006-11-13 [Nightshadow]: Mods enforce all of the Writersco rules...and follow them, too. If you find a mod breaking the rules, feel free to report them. Mod secret: we're actually pretty safeguarded against corruption (Elftown's the same way), in that a report on our own page must be viewed and handled by other mods. We're just as reportable and prone to the rules as anyone.
2006-11-14 [Kiddalee]: The "these images aren't allowed anywhere" list had two #2s, so I changed one to a 3.
2006-12-06 [Kiddalee]: Eh? What changed?
2006-12-06 [Nightshadow]: I made a grammar error on the notice rules. Now I un-make-d it.
2008-11-23 [Eyudo]: These rules are rediculous, there are some things in ther that either have flws to them or they hurt nothign if we do them, i would know, they keep telling me im breaking them
2010-11-29 [Annie]: The page was crying out for care. Just fixed a typo under what is permitted for notices #4, "give" to "giving", a missing "to" under images allowed in wiki-pages, and some capitalization inconsistencie
2011-02-22 [Veltzeh]: By the way, is anyone else miffed that the "keywords" and "heading" fields on the writing pages are mixed up? The heading apparently ends up not being used at all, and all the keywords go awkwardly to the title of the page!
I've been trying to get Hedda to correct it, but apparently I'm not enough... maybe if enough of us say it should be fixed, he'll fix it?
2011-02-23 [Annie]: I noticed that too and tried to work with it a bit but just couldn't get it to look right...it's kind of confusing.
