2006-01-30 [Askoga]: I've had green pancakes and green spaghetti before. But....one was on St. Patrick's day, and the other was for Halloween (the spaghetti was called scrambled brains). I think it might be cool to color your food for no apparent reason, though....

XD Well, for a special 'Australia Day' week, when he had all sort of strange classes, but boomerang throwing was coolest >:) Especially because no one could catch them when they came back again so all these children just ran away screaming! XD

2006-02-05 [Kaimee]: No, the 'sight to see' is when we all ran away screaming and then it hit the teacher in the back of the head >:) Thankfully they only gave us crappy fake plastic boomerangs, real wooden boomerangs are fire hardened and sharpened to a knife-edge; they're used for hunting. The perfect thing really, a thowing knife that neatly slits the animal's throat at the end of it's arc and then turns and comes back to you so you never lose it.

2006-02-05 [Mister Saint]: There's a thing - or was - in my state in the U.S. called 'Kentucky Down Under' that was a big tourist attraction with lots of Aussie animals and just the tiniest bit of culture and history, that I went to several years ago. They had boomerangs there, cheap tourist kinds of course, and they would always come back to the spot the thrower might have been standing had said thrower been twenty feet to hir right. ^^
2006-02-05 [Kaimee]: *snorts* yah, proper boomerangs aren't just shaped in that silly shape, the edges are all filed down in certain bits for aerodynamics, so they'll go where they're meant to and fast. Crappy plastic models have some token funny shapes on them for 'aerodynamics' and silly tourist wooden things are just rubbish :P The real ones are worked on for ages before they're a proper tool, and then they get passed down. They're an actual weapon, and as mch goes into them as I imagine goes into forging a sword :/
